Looking at Kelly and Duke

For the first post on this blog in years, what we have here is a 22-strip run of the comic strip Kelly and Duke, from March 27 to April 20, 1974. I cut them out of the Seattle Times and taped them into a scrapbook, which is why there is yellowing on them. The strip was created by Jack Moore and ran from 1972 to 1980. The original title was just Kelly, which is how I remember it; the name changed in 1974 so these strips may have been under the Kelly title. Kelly is the boy.

This strip was clearly a favorite of 14-year-old me, since I was cutting it out along with Pogo, Li'l Abner, Tumbleweeds, The Smith Family, and others.
